Paul Turner became our 2017 Clay Shooting Champion at Bywell Shooting Ground over the August Bank Holiday weekend.
While there was an impressive display of skill from many shooters, no one could argue with Paul’s back-to-back 100/300s.
He followed his perfect weekend by straighting the Super Shoot-Off for the Perazzi shotgun with Alex Harris (A Class winner), Gail Barclay (B Class winner), Paul Davies (C Class winner) and Morgan Williams (Colt winner representing the categories).
It was a hectic weekend and shooters were never short of something to keep them occupied, with zany pool shoots, our Friday pre-lims, won by Austin Coxhead and Marty Smith, and our generous sponsors Perazzi/RUAG, Cheddite/Malmo and WeShoot/CPC/Laporte in attendance all weekend.
