Anticipation mounts for BASC final

A Browning shotgun, piles of cash and trophies are up for grabs at the Midland Game Fair as BASC’s national clay shooting competition heads towards its conclusion.

The event at Weston Park on 16-17 September will host the final of the BASC competition series, which has already come to Kelmarsh, Harewood and Lowther among other country show venues.

If you didn’t qualify at one of those events, you still have a chance – qualification spots for the grand final are available on each day of the Midland too. 

Separate categories the pro shooters, club shooters, ladies, juniors and vets ensure everyone has a chance of coming away with a prize.

PRIZE LIST

Winner of the professional competition: £3,000
Winner of the club competition: a Browning trophy plus a Browning Sporter 12 bore shotgun
Winner of the ladies’ competition: a trophy plus £100
Winner of the veterans’ competition: a trophy plus £100
Winner of the junior competition: a trophy plus £100
