Thimbleby launches sim game days

Thimbleby Shooting Ground in North Yorkshire has launched a series of simulated game days which offers a unique experience with supreme hospitality and shooting with exceptional attention to detail.

The simulated pheasant and grouse drives are set in beautiful countryside on the Thimbleby Estate and will challenge and develop anyone’s shooting ability. 

The estate is on the edge of the North York Moors with an unrivalled variety of topography, so the 8-12 guns will shoot drives ranging from forestry to farmland and open moor.

Just like a driven game day, Thimbleby offers high-class hospitality between drives, including delicious breakfast in the opulent and unique shooting room situated in the heart of the estate; elevenses; lunch at the Bothy and afternoon tea. 

The Thimbleby team aims to give guns of all levels the closest replica of a day in the field, challenging them, improving their shooting and raising confidence.

For more experienced groups the expert course setter will up some truly demanding clays sure to fly over that weaker shoulder and the highest, fastest targets.

For guns newer to shooting, an encouraging course will be set, and together with skilful and discreet instruction people will find themselves improving quickly.
