Clay Shooting Magazine 155 is out NOW

Christmas is coming! This year things will be rather different from usual, but it’s still Christmas!

I’m sure like me you’ll be spending as much time as possible with family and friends, even if it’s via Zoom and Facetime. Hopefully we’ll still be able to get out and do some shooting, and of course there will still be presents, tinsel and all the trimmings.

Choosing presents can be tricky, particularly if you don’t share the same interests – so in this month’s issue we have a Christmas Gift feature to provide some inspiration, whether you’re picking a present for someone else, or wondering what to put on your own wish list.

There are some great ideas there, with something for every shooter. Plus we’ve asked a few top shots, and leading names in the gun trade, what gun and cartridge they would most like to receive for Christmas.

There’s plenty more in this month’s issue too. We report from one of the last big competitions of the year, the World Skeet Masters at Eriswell. Then we have our usual mix of gun and ammo tests, regular columnists, interviews, features and more.

I went to Kibworth to report on Ben Husthwaite’s young shots day – a fantastic opportunity for 20 youngsters to get free gun fitting, coaching and advice, as well as a free personalised skeet vest and goodie bag.

As a subscriber you should be receiving your copy shortly, and I hope you enjoy reading it. This might be a good moment to check your subscription details and make sure everything is up to date, maybe even to take advantage of our latest offer to renew your subscription for another 12 months.
