The Disabled Shooters Group extended its usual shoot of 80-bird All Round to accommodate Dartford Shooting Ground’s 100-bird Sporting, which made up 150 targets on 28 June.
DTL took place in the morning, which saw Paul Sadler win A-class with 23/65, and Daniel Fish-Haverson top B-class with a 22/64. Les Foster conquered C-class with 12/36.
Paul Sadler continued his impressive shooting in Skeet and took A-class again with 22ex-25. Mark Pond improved on this in B-class and shot 23, but that was only enough for third place behind Alex Sperling on 24. It was Sam Nunn (left) who shot his first 25-straight to win the class, with Les Foster topping C-class again with 16.
The conditions deteriorated significantly for the Sporting, however, Adrian Last managed an impressive 69 to win A-class, which also put him in third in the Able Bodied category. B-class was won by Sam with 74, and C-class was won by Les with 38, pipping DSG’s new member Andy by one clay.
The next shoot is at Orston Shooting Ground on 26 July.
