Nick Marsden missed just three out of 400 targets at the BSSA Ironman Competition at Dartford Shooting Ground on 18-19 April.
During his second set of 100 on Saturday, Nick missed one in his opening 25 and two in the third rotation to tie with Johnny Walker, who also finished on 197 on the opening day. Johnny, however, missed one on Sunday when the wind wasn’t as bad, while Nick made the most of the better conditions and shot 200-straight.
BSSA chairman Greg Sutton arranged for the competition to be open to disabled shooters, and the Disabled Shooters Group turned out in force. Mick Kirby shot 300ex-400, Sam Nunn scored two 25-straights to finish on 368, and Darrel White scored 374 to make him DSG champion.
