People taking part in this year’s Countryside Clay Shoot on 14 May at Six Mile Bottom will have the chance to shoot some of the finest shotguns in the world, courtesy of globally-renowned gun maker James Purdey & Sons, with the proceeds going to charity. For a £20 donation on the day, people can use a shotgun manufactured by world-famous gunmaker, which holds royal warrants from Her Majesty the Queen, the Duke of Edinburgh and the Prince of Wales.
Organisations, businesses and individuals are encouraged to enter teams. Entry costs £600 per team of four, which is £150 per person and includes hospitality. The winning team will receive the Hugh van Cutsem Challenge Cup, dedicated to the memory of the keen shot and countryman.
