Four years on and Agri.Cycle’s cartridge recycling service is busier than ever.
Shooters concerned about the environmental hazards of burning or land filling spent cartridges should recommend Agri.Cycle to their local ground. The business is run by Robert Moore, who developed the machines to shred the cartridges and turn them into usable items like benches and flooring. It works with Laporte CPC, which collects cartridges when it delivers clays to grounds around the country and returns the empties to one of 35 Agri.Cycle franchisees around England and Wales. The company also offers a collection and drop-off service.
Robert said: “We are able to recycle 100 per cent of the spent shotgun cartridges on our family-run farm in Lincolnshire, which would have previously gone to landfill or been burned on site.”
