EN4G0151On a gloomy, cold Wednesday 21 January, West London Shooting School cranked up the heat on its targets, but David Kempley kept a cool head for an impressive victory.

He hit 33ex-60 for High Gun on an extremely tough course, but Mark Marshall was the only other shooter to finish within striking distance on 32.

Steve Walton was at the ground and said: “Anyone hitting above 40 would have to have a very good day.” But that score would prove elusive.

Chris Childerhouse rounded out the top three in AA-class, Kevin Douglas and Matthew Bone tied for first place in A ahead of the likes of Danny Smith, Gary Davis, Pip Bayley, Kenny Bennett and Richard Hunter.

Bob Bataglia scored 19 to win B-class and Jamie Passant continued to out-shoot his average by winning C-class with 28.
