Clay Shooting Classic day 3: It’s hotting up at Southdown

George Digweed was among many who shot the course on day 3 of the Clay Shooting Classic.

The 26-time world champion scored 139 ex-150 at Southdown – not enough to knock Richard Faulds (144 ex-150) off the top of the leaderboard but enough for an excellent chance of making the 12-person AAA-class final on Sunday.

With 12 qualifying in each class and category, and just one day of the main competition remaining, all eyes now turn to Saturday’s scores. And with the weather forecast looking good for the weekend, the final stages of the Classic are set to be a scorcher.
