The Kent Game Bird Challenge shoot saw over 90 people in 23 teams of four on Friday 3 July. The charity event in aid of the Game and Wildlife Conservation Trust, organised by BTP Partnership, comprised three flurries of 100 clays.
The Greenfields Shooting Ground team from Canterbury secured the win with an impressive 280, with the Denne Hill Estate team in second with 275 and the Pull Bang B team following closely with 274. The BTF Partnership team came fourth with a respectable 272.
There was also a charity auction, which raised over £10,000. Richard Thomas of BTF Partnership said, “The event this summer has seen wonderful support from Game and Wildlife Conservation Trust members across the county. The atmosphere was relaxed with some excellent marksmanship.”
