Surrey-based shooting team Game Bird Shooting raised £625 at its annual charity event this October, with proceeds going to veterans’ charity Combat Stress.
The 10-stand Sporting layout, set up by the Southdown team, gave all levels a chance to demonstrate their shooting skills. Senior High Gun went to Nick Garrett for a second time with 91ex-100. Ladies High Gun went to Hannah Henshaw with 78, and Junior title went to Amy Cribb with 77. Last year, £500 went to the Shooting Star Chase charity for children based in Hampton & Guildford.
