With the ground recovering from sodden conditions caused by rain that hampered the Services Classic, shooters took to the Blue and Red courses at Windrush Shooting Ground to shoot 150 of the Clay Shooting Company’s finest targets.
Many top shots arrived to make the most of the drier weather, which looks to continue through to Saturday’s competition, and posted strong scores, though no one has broken then elusive 140 barrier yet. A few shooters have come close, including team England’s Nick Hendrick on 138, and John Lee who hit 67 on the Red course and 70 on the Blue for 137ex-150.
