ShootClay Forum has teamed up with EJ Churchill Shooting Ground to create an English Sporting competition with a £10,000 prize fund.
It will be the first new major Sporting competition for a few years and Matt Rutherford, ShootClay owner, hopes it will attract new sponsorship, new shooters, and be an exciting new addition to the Sporting calendar.
The 120-bird course will be set by Mark Marshall and take place on Friday 22nd-Saturday 23rd of August this year. Entry will cost just £50, with a subsidised price for Colts and Juniors thanks to sponsorship by Müller Chokes.
Prizes include cash down to fifth place in classes, and third place in categories, with a shotgun for the overall High Gun. Class and category winners also win an EJ Churchill membership worth £400. Le Pondicherry champagne will be presented to winners, and the Extreme Dream Pool Shoot will offer a prize that money cannot buy.
More details will be announced shortly.
