Marlborough College hosted the Marlborough Sporting Clay Shield on 14 October at Barbury Shooting School, which saw Libby Letchford from Millfield School claim High Gun with a score of 37.
Libby’s score was enough for the top spot, which left the Ladies category High Gun open for her teammate, Ariane Freebady, to take the prize.
Harrow X team took the 40-bird flush trophy after missing just two targets, and Marlborough A team proudly represented the host school by achieving the highest score of 159 in the main team competition, which marks the third consecutive year it has won the team prize.
Other teams in attendance were Cheltenham College, Wellington College and Bradfield College.
Woohoo!
And both Libby and Ariane are coached at Brookbank but myself who has been working hard with the girls and the Millfield boys A team.
