Clay Shooting magazine has revealed the 2014 Clay Shooter of the Year winners ahead of the award ceremony in 2015.

Ed Solomons
Winning a world championship before is 30th birthday has solidified Ed Solomons’ reputation as being one of the best and most consistent Sporting shooters in the country. Highlights from 2014 for Ed include a win in Portugal by a massive margin of two points and again in the Troy Foods Clay Shooting Classic FITASC at Westfield.
Steve Scott
Steve Scott delivered at every major competition last year finishing in the top 10 at two World Cups and World Cup Final, finishing in the medals at the World Championship, and winning European and Commonwealth golds.
Paul Chaplow
The best DTL shooter in the country at least in 2014, Paul’s achievements in this discipline are too great to mention and 2014 proved particularly spectacular with a solid year of wins, not to mention reaching his record 100 perfect scores of 100/300.
Ladies Olympic Skeet Team
Winning the award for the second year in a row, these ladies have had a solid 2014, with Amber Hill’s continuing growth as a competitor, Elena Allen’s expertise and the new addition of Sarah Gray culminating in winning team gold at the ISSF World Championships in Granada.
Charlotte Kerwood
Charlotte has been unstoppable at almost every discipline that she has turned her gun to, recently winning gold at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow. In 2014 Charlotte has enjoyed success in Olympic Trap, Sporting and Double Trap.
Peter Bloomfield
Peter Bloomfield has been at the heart of English Skeet for more than 40 years, 2014 being his 35th consecutive year of attendance at the NSSA World Championships in San Antonio, where he finished an outstanding ninth out of 800 competitors.
