After finishing qualification with 142 to beat 69 other competitors at the ISSF World Championships, the Isle of Man’s Tim Kneale qualified second in the semi-final. His 27 was one behind the experienced Vasily Mosin, who went on to win gold and become the Double Trap world champion as Tim dropped four targets in the gold-medal match.
The quota place is Britain’s fifth in the shotgun disciplines, but the event offered even more success for Tim as his qualifying score led teammates Matt Coward-Holley and Matthew French to a team gold.
