The Northern Shooting Show countdown has begun

The Northern Shooting Show is taking place on the 6-7 May at the Great Yorkshire Showground, near Harrogate in Yorkshire.

The fantastic venue is situated within a gently sloping, grassed showground and has two main, purpose-built halls housing firearms and shotguns in Hall 1 and Airguns in Hall 2. There are a host of activities happening around the ground, such as a massive 550m clayline with have-a-go stands, manufacturer shotgun demo area and a 50-bird Sporting and a 20-bird grouse competition.

The FMJ Zone in Hall 1 will be full of specialist companies, including Cheshire Gun, Cluny Guns & Optics, Entwistle Guns, Gilsan Sports, John Bradshaw Guns, John Carr Guns, Longthorne Gunmakers, Premier Guns, and more.

Blaser, Sauer & Mauser will have innovative shotguns on display and a demo area on the clayline. RUAG Ammotec will represent Bettinsoli, Perrazi, Rottweil and other top shooting brands. Local distributor Viking Arms will show off Marocchi, Merkel and Ruger, and the SimWay shooting simulator will be a focal point.

Associations, such as BASC, BDS, CPSA, NSRA, NOBS, NGO, SACS, UKPSA, UKDTR, and the Institute Of Clayshooting Instructors will also be in attendance, to give advice and guidance to shooters. And the Clubhouse will be a dedicated meeting point set-aside for club, forum and society members to meet up with friends, making for a sociable day out.
