The High Tech series from Perazzi has made a big impact on the premium gun market

The High Tech is now the best-selling Perazzi on the market, having overtaken the various MX series guns, and for many it represents the pinnacle of Italian shotgun design.

Perazzi guns are wholly bespoke, and the factory only makes around 1,800 guns total a year. To put this in perspective, I’m told that Beretta make more guns than that counting DT11s alone.

Perazzi’s emphasis on bespoke guns means that there isn’t really a standard offering other than what dealers decide to spec and order as off-the-shelf guns.

Almost every aspect of the gun’s build can be tweaked to the buyer’s preference, including its barrel length, weight, choke, rib height and configuration, monobloc weight, trigger spring type, engraving, action colour, wood grade, stock, fore-end shape, and whether it has a removable or fixed trigger.

That’s not even the full list! A trip to meet the team at the factory is a must. Depending on the dealer there are little to no additional cost to have the gun made to your specification and fitted at the factory.
