Riverside Shooting Ground offers £500 reward for information on vandals

Riverside Shooting Ground in Warwickshire is cleaning up the ground after parts of it were destroyed by vandals last weekend.

The perpetrators smashed through the side walls of Skeet houses, broke into the Compak Sporting house, broke the decking and ruined a Honda CRV 4×4.

Brian Quelch said: “There was £3,500 worth of trap machines in the tower but they didn’t touch them. It was just kids looking to destroy something. It’s so disheartening, but they won’t stop the ground working. I’ll pick myself up and dust myself off. I’ll keep going.”

The ground is hosting a corporate day this weekend, which Brian vowed would go ahead despite the destruction. He also said he would give £500 reward to anyone with information that would lead to the vandals being caught.
