Remington adds relief

Remington Arms Company has donated $50,000 to the Red Cross, in support of the Philippines relief effort.

Two months have passed since Typhoon Haiyan devastated the Philippines last November, and still people are in need of aid. The US office of the Remington Arms Company announced it would be adding to the support via a sizeable donation to Red Cross.

Vice president John Day said: “Through this donation, we wish to express our heartfelt support of the Philippines during these difficult times. As an international company with customers all over the world, we believe it’s important to five back to the communities that we serve.”

The American Red Cross said it appreciates the donation and, the $50,000 will be send to the Philippine Red Cross to take care of immediate needs.
