PSCA top shooters make money at Nad Al Sheba Shooting Championship

Competitors from The Professional Sporting Clays Association (PSCA) claimed top positions on the leaders’ board at the first annual Nad Al Sheba Shooting Championship in Dubai, held last week.

The Championship was led by remarkable performances from prolific PSCA members, Gebben Miles conquering the tournament and claiming the grand prize of $140,000, with Anthony Matarese coming close behind in 2nd position ($65,000). Honourable mentions include Scott Robertson, 4th place; Brad Kidd Jr., 12th place; Jon Kruger, Andy Duffy and Bill McGuire tied at 14th place. Female champions were Beatriz Cuenca Laparra, 1st place ($35,000), Desirae Edmunds in 2nd and Martina Maruzzo in 3rd. The winner of the Middle East competition (and the coveted Ford Raptor 2014) was Abdullah Al Rashidi.

Hosted by His Highness, the Crown Prince of Dubai, the Championship (held February 28th-March 5th) boasted an impressive turnout, over 550 talented shooters from around the globe, with a considerable total of $735,000 available as prize money. Expectations are high for next year, with over 1000 entrants anticipated and a prize money total of $1,000,000.

PSCA registration opens for Inaugural Tour’s first event

More excitement to come for PSCA enthusiasts; entrants may register here for the event taking place on Sunday morning, April 6, 2014 at Able’s Gun Club, Huntsville TX.
