Nicola Heron is “delighted” to be named CPSA National Director

Nicola Heron has been announced as the new National Director at the CPSA.

DSC02925The recent ballot attracted 2,832 votes, which amounts to nearly 12 per cent of the overall membership figure according to count published in the CPSA’s annual report.

Nicola recorded 1,456 votes to win the position ahead of incumbent director Michele Conway, who received 1,376.

A statement on the CPSA website said: “This was a healthy turn out in the number of votes cast and we would like to thank members for taking the time to vote. Michele has played a significant and constructive role over the past three years and we would like to thank her for the valuable contribution she has made to the running of the Association in that time. The directors and staff now look forward to welcoming Nicola to the Board and working with her constructively.”

Nicola Heron told Clay Shooting: “I am delighted to have had such support. I look forward to promoting and protecting our sport across all shooting disciplines, while raising the profile of women competition shooters.”
