Atkin, Grant & Lang near Markyate in Hertfordshire is hosting the 125-bird Lyalvale Express Masters on 29-30 April.
Comprising 12 stands of 100 clays and a 25-bird Sportrap competition, the event will boast £1,000 as a High Gun prize, with cash presented to the winners, Runner Up and Third Overall in AAA, AA, A, B, C-classes, as well as in the Ladies and Juniors categories.
The 100 Sporting can be shot with any shotgun or cartridge, but the 25 Sportrap has to be shot using Lyalvale Express cartridges, which will be provided free of charge on the day.
Booking ahead is essential as spaces are limited and the event is set to be popular, as Marcus Iddon of Lyalvale Express explained: “The team at Atkin, Grant & Lang has invested heavily in the shooting ground, which in our view is now one of the best in the UK. I look forward to shooting the course myself.”
