It’s the UK’s national championships for under-18s, and will see the country’s finest young talent competing over three courses of varying difficulty – Red, Blue and Black – at Orston Shooting Ground in Nottinghamshire on Saturday 25 April.

The competition has become renowned for highlighting emerging talent in the world of clay shooting, with previous winners including Brody Woollard, Ronnie Green and Alfie Tibbles. Last year the trophy went to Joshua Bennion, who shot a perfect 50-straight around the course at Atkin Grant & Lang.

In the team categories, Bloxham School put in a tremendous performance, winning the Red and Black course prizes and scooping first and second place on the Blue; their shooters took the first three individual placings on Blue as well.

As always there will be a host of trophies to be won, as well as sponsored prizes. We’ll be announcing further details in due course, but for now make sure of your place by booking in with Orston Shooting Ground.

If you want to shoot with a school team, it’s specially important to book ahead, even if you don’t yet have full details of all the team members.
