Twenty Western Isles District Scouts and Explorers tried clay target shooting for the first time last week at Harris Gun Club in Scotland.
The Aline-based ground invited scouts to the ground where club members offered assistance on 1 February. The visitors shot Universal Trench in pleasant weather.
Club press officer, Mairi McKenzie said: “It was great to see so many enthusiastic youngsters on Saturday. Some of these young boys and girls might be giving seniors a run for their money soon.”
Harris Gun Club was voted the nation’s favourite ground in Scotland in February’s Clay Shooting.
