On 16-17 August, Galloway Country Fair will return to Drumlanrig Castle and Country Estate.
It will host a range of activities you would normally find at a game fair, including a clay shooting competition that boasts £1,000 in prize money with support from Roxtons. It will be set up by Elite Clays, but the event will also work in partnership with BASC, which will offer coaching sessions and have-a-go opportunities for beginners.
A host of shotgun brands will be exhibiting on gunmakers’s row, and there will be a variety of country sports activities available to try for the first time. Tickets cost £12 for adults of £5 for those between ages five and 16. If you buy online before August, you can get a 25 per cent discount on tickets.
