Wunderkind Amber Hill has been nominated to a shortlist of a prestigious national award to be presented by Her Royal Highness the Duchess of Cambridge.
Amber has reached the final three candidates to potentially win the One-to-Watch Award from the charity SportAid, of which Catherine Duchess of Cambridge is a patron.
A statement from the charity said that the nomination comes “in recognition of these exceptional performances and her incredible commitment.” Amber has beaten over 1,300 other SportAid athletes hoping to claim the award.
Amber said, “It’s an amazing feeling being nominated. SportsAid have been a massive help this year and have helped me on the road to the Rio 2016 Olympics, which is my main aim in my sporting career.”
The winner will be announced on November 28.
Clay Shooting will be awaiting the results with a keen eye, and wishing Amber the best of luck.
