Dragon Clay Club gets fired up for charity shoot

The Dragon Clay Club’s annual charity shoot was held on Sunday, 16 August at their picturesque ground in Colgate, West Sussex.

A total of £3,000 was raised and shared equally between the Club’s two nominated charities, Brittle Bone Society and Phoenix Stroke Club (Horsham).

The shoot had an interesting and challenging 100 targets set over 12 stands. A good entry of 130 competitors set about the course where some very interesting and unique targets were set either side of the valley with many below their feet tested everyone. Coming out on top was Guy Franklin with a brilliant 97, just three targets slipping away. He was closely followed by Alex Cobb on 96 and the Juniors was won by Thomas Sheppard with an impressive 75.

Following the prize giving, cheques were presented to BBS and PSC and they thanked The Dragon Clay Club for their continued support.
