Double Barrelled Clay Shooting to host Nad Al Sheba replacement

While Podimore Shooting Ground has been under more water in the past few weeks than Nad Al Sheba had throughout 2015, Don Brunt at Double Barrelled Clay Shooting plans to host a Nearly Al Sheba competition on Wednesday 25 May.

One-hundred targets will be launched over 10 stands that follow the same format as Nad Al Sheba Desert Shooting Competition in 2015, with five simultaneous pairs thrown from three traps.

Expect super-quick combinations and some long-range targets.

The prize fund depends on numbers but with the shoot limited to 10 squads of six it is unlikely the competition will pay out the $1million prize fund that benefited the Dubai-based competition last year, yet the £100 High Gun and cash payouts in classes should attract a good number of shooters.
