Essex Masters winner George Digweed MBE takes the title for the 6th time after sudden-death victory.
The consistent marksman went head-to-head with Tim Webster after both shooters were tied at 189/200, but the Essex Masters pro gained the upper hand ultimately after a tense shoot-off. Webster received the runner-up position for his very respectable performance and will no doubt be one to watch out for next year.
The Essex Masters 2014 was held from 9-13 April at Hepworth Hall SG in Essex. Prizes included over £28,000 in cash, guns and cartridges. As High Gun, Digweed took home £2,000 and Webster took the runner-up prize of £1,000. The Essex Masters was sponsored by Essex Gun Shop.
Competitors had a sunny weekend for their sport and the event will be greatly anticipated next year.
