The first Great British Shooting Awards were a resounding success!

Voting is currently open for the second Great British Shooting Awards, and you, the British shooting public, can vote for the winners across a wide range of categories spanning every aspect of shooting.

The Awards aim to give recognition to the products, organisations and people that make our industry tick. As well as rewarding the industry’s best rifles, shotguns, airguns, optics, clothing and innovative technology, dedicated categories showcase the achievements of the people who’ve really had a positive effect on the industry, whether in the fields of retail, gamekeeping or conservation.

Now in their second year, the awards have grown to include several new categories, including one specifically for shotgun cartridges. In fact, there’s plenty for clay fans to have their say on – there are awards for shotguns, clothing and gun shops, while last year none other than George Digweed MBE won the inaugural Lifetime Achievement award.

The Great British Shooting Awards 2020 began in August this year with a round of trade-only nominations. The judging then whittled these down to just five entries per category.

Now, you can cast your votes to crown your 2020 champions from the selected shortlists. Voting is hosted online at http://bit.ly/gbsa156 and will close on 31 December 2019.

Once voting closes, the results will be sent to the judging panel for verifying. They will also choose their winner of the Lifetime Achievement Award ahead of the results ceremony in February 2020.
