Bredon School Festival of Shooting: May 4 2015

Picture1Bredon School, the only school in the UK that has shooting on the curriculum, is once again holding their Country Fair and Festival of Shooting this spring. Scheduled to take place on 4th May, a Bank Holiday Monday, the event features a variety of shooting stands alongside traditional country fair entertainment. Highlights include The Royal British Legion Jump4Heroes Parachute Display Team, The Kye Forte BMX stunt show, gun dogs, the Young Farmers tug o’ war, a mini gymkhana, terrier racing and a vintage car display.

The event, which runs from 10am-5pm, is preceded by the Bredon Schools’ Challenge on 3 May. The school has invested heavily into their shooting ground over the past years and the Challenge event will undoubtedly see strong competition from the home team, particularly because Bredon’s team has already seen considerable success in competitions this year.
