After a successful first two years in Dubai, the Nad Al Sheba Desert Shooting Competition will not take place.
A spokesperson of the Nad Al Sheba team told Clay Shooting magazine that registration would usually open at the end of the year preceding the event, but that it is unlikely to open at all for a 2016 competition.
Shooters around the world had been looking forward to the competition, with people predicting an increase of British entries this year after the success of Cheryl Hall and Katie Brown in the Ladies competition, and Phil Gray in the Men’s event.
The spokesperson suggested that a 2017 competition was still likely to go ahead, and that entries will open at the end of this year if that is the case.

really looking forward to the race!
Good riddance.
Huge disappointment as we had heard great reports from NCAA members who attended in 2015. Had a large contingent of Americans primed and ready to try out best in 2016. Hope to make it next time.
Huge disappointment as we had heard great reports from NSCA members who attended in 2015. Had a large contingent of Americans primed and ready to try our best in 2016. Hope to make it next time.
