Amber Hill wins bronze at ISSF World Cup in San Marino

In San Marino, Olympic Skeet star Amber Hill is trending upwards as the Olympics approach after winning a bronze medal at the ISSF World Cup.

Amber’s three rounds of 24 totalled 72ex-75 to secure a place in the top six where she hit 12 and narrowly beat China’s Meng Wei into the bronze-medal match against her compatriot Ning Wei.

After 16 more targets in the final, Amber once again tied with a Chinese shooter and had to endure another 18 targets of sudden death before finally fending off her foe.

Sutiya Jiewchaloemmit of Thailand and Diana Bacosi of Italy finished with gold and silver, respectively.
