Ireland’s Kieran Finn plans to shoot 4,000 clays in four days in a bid to raise funds and awareness for Pieta House & Suicide Awarness. His aim is to shoot 1,000 targets in Ulster, Connacht, Leinster and Munster, starting at Meenbanivane in County Kerry on 29 July.
Kieran has had to add over 20lb of muscle with the help of specialist instructors at ROM Gym to withstand the 103,500 recoil pounds over four days, and he has been in specialist training for
Pieta House helped over 5,000 last year who were suffering with suicidal thoughts or self harm. Kieran said: “I did not know until recently that 10 Irish people a week take their own lives, or the fact that eight of them are men. In recent years, we have been left broken-hearted in every county in Ireland following the tragic loss of men and women, young and old, who lost their battle with depression.”
Kieran has previously raised over 20,000 euros for MS Ireland, Autism Awareness Ireland, and others. To donate to this important cause, visit www.justgiving.com/Kieran-Finn.
