Stock

The stocking of the Z-Extra is to a high order: wood to metal fit is excellent everywhere and that includes the forend wood. As for configuration, it was conceived by a man who knows his business as it relates to Trap shooting.

064-066 Vic Gun Test_Rev2HH.inddCombining a deep and close radius grip with an unobtrusive palm-swell, the nose of the comb is not set too far forward allowing the hand to achieve a firm grasp, my thumb and second finger meeting comfortably. The recoil pad is the thin hard rubber kind, and slightly concave – in my view ideal for Trap shooting, slipping into the shoulder easily.

There is no such thing as perfect set of stock dimensions, unless, of course, they fit you perfectly, but with a length-of-pull of 3.8cm, a drop-at-comb of 32mm and a drop-at-heel to 42mm, this would not be too far away for a lot of people.
