The seventh annual Yorkshire Game Fair will be held at Newby Hall on 25-26 May.
Clay shooters have a great selection of activities available to take part in, including the Fair Clay Targets shooting line, Star Shot, muzzle loading and much more.
Alan Evans of Fair Clay Targets will run the shooting line, which includes a pool shoot of 12 clays from three traps with prize money paid out every 15 entries. There will be a 50-bird Sporting re-entry competition, a two-man flush of 40 birds, and cash prizes paid throughout.
Star Shot will be in attendance. The 40x80ft structure will be erected with a competition running throughout the weekend for the highest score – will anyone get the maximum 88 points?
The Yorkshire Powder Burners will host muzzle-loaded black power displays and interactive sessions to attract new members, and the Muzzle Loaders Association of Great Britain will also be at the show manning a have-a-go stand.
