Royal Berkshire Shooting School is once again teaming up with Stratstone of Mayfair and long-time supporter of the Clay Shooting Handicap Classic, Browning, to launch The Ultimate Pair Challenge.
The competition will follow the same set-up as previous years: a 50-bird warm-up then two attempts at the 25-bird high tower sequence for £50. The best scores will return to the school on the day of the final to shoot-off for a Range Rover Sport Autobiography, or a pair of custom hand-made Browning B25 shotguns.
During each week of the competition, the highest score ex-100 will be invited back to the final for an additional shoot-off where they could win a Rolex GMT II watch worth over £5,000 from David Duggan Watches.
Dylan Williams of RBSS said: “As we prepare for our 25th anniversary, it seems a fitting tribute to have created a competition in keeping with our philosophy from the beginning. The competition is seen as aspirational and achievable – and this year nobody can say it is not possible given the remarkable achievement of Mark Winser in February.
The competition will start on Monday 5 October and finish on Saturday 30 January 2016, with the final date yet to be announced.
