With the qualifying period of the Stratstone Ultimate One Challenge at its halfway point, the 20 shooters currently in line to return for the final in February stands as follows:

– Mark Stevenson, 23

– George Digweed, 22

– Gary Davis, 22

– Ed Solomons, 22

– Ricky McArthur, 22

– Mark Marshall, 21

– Jamie Brightman, 21

– Mark Winser 20

– Brian Chaplin, 20

– John Heagren, 20

– Huw Stephens, 20

– Colin Will, 19

– Jamie Passant, 19

– Stewart Gordon, 19

– Ludovic Antony, 19

– Paul Batchelor, 19

– Alex Cobb, 19

– Chris Childerhouse, 19

– Wayne Martin, 19

– John Newman, 18*

* Richard Weller and Paul Gillett also scored 18 but John Newman had the highest score when combined with the 50-bird Sporting and the second score out of 25 off the high tower.

The lowest scoring shooters of the Stratstone Super 7 Challenge final in 2013-2014 hit 18 in qualifying, which suggests that this year, the target presentations for the Stratstone Ultimate One might be slightly easier, but no one has hit 25-straight yet – a feat George Digweed managed in 2013.

There are still another seven-and-a-half weeks to go, so this list isn’t settled. Visit www.rbss.co.uk for information on entering.
