The Royal Oak in Tandridge set up its own charity fund 11 years ago and has since raised £50,000 for the local community. As part of the registered charity (number 1085009), it teams up with Keston Gun Club each year for a charity shoot.

There will be a BBQ on site as well as a charity shoot and tuition for beginners, but the 50-bird competition is nothing to be sniffed at. The Royal Oak Charity Fund’s Judy Whittaker said: “It’s always fund and challenges even the most experienced shots, but we have tuition on site and everyone is welcome.”
