Joy Hirons, one of the event’s big winners
Results are in for the 2015 English Skeet Home International – with England dominating the scoreboard and Gary Cooke gaining most individual honours.
The England Seniors, Ladies, Veterans and Super-Veterans all took first place in their categories at the event, held at Mid Wales Shooting Centre on 22 August, 2015.
The Seniors won at 746/750, 20 ahead of Northern Ireland.
The Ladies shot 284/300, to finish 4 ahead of runners up Scotland.
The Veterans at 293/300 and the Super-Veterans at 292/300 won by 10 and 5 respectively.
Gary Cooke was the most successful shooter at the event, winning the Telpyn Cup (Overall High Gun), the Gamebore Cup (Senior High Gun) and the Alistair Ford Trophy (England Senior High Gun).
Senior runner-up Ross Elgie received the Graham & Joyce Hill Trophy as the highest placed New Cap.
Joy Hirons won High Gun in Ladies (146/150) and Bill Moussalli (147/150) was High Gun at Veteran level.
