One-hundred-and-fifty targets will be broken down into 24 stands across two layouts. The first squad will start on stand one and traverse the High Lodge estate in stand order from 9.30am on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, but Saturday will see the first shots fired at 9am to allow extra time for shoot-offs should they be required on the final day of the competition. This system is new to the Clay Shooting Classic Sporting for 2016 but has proven popular at different events around the country in recent years.

There will be a 25-bird Promatic FITASC side-shoot, with a clay launcher from the Clay Shooting Classic Sporting’s long-time sponsor up for grabs.

In addition to this, there will be a Zoli Pool Shoot where you can try the High Gun prize of a Zoli Z-Sport High Rib yourself or the Runner Up prize of a Zoli Kronos.

Prizes

The prize breakdown reveals an increase in the overall cash amounts given to the class places on last year, and an additional payment down to fifth place in the Ladies, Veterans, Juniors and Colts categories. This further displays Clay Shooting magazine’s dedication to supporting young shots, female shooters and the older generation that makes up the lifeblood of the sport.
