The Clay Shooting Classic is a competition steeped in rich history, and has been won and courted by the biggest and best names in the sport. This year was no different, as many of the elite Shots in the country fought it out to take home not just the win, but the High Gun prize – a brand-spanking new Blaser F16 Sporting.

This year, the coveted title was won by Nick Hendrick, who beat out closest competitors Martin Myers and 2019 FITASC winner Sam Green, who came second and third respectively.

One of the big stories coming out of the Classic this year was that once again, George Digweed, perhaps the greatest Shot of all time, missed out on the only major competition to still find itself absent from his crowded trophy cabinet and legendary record of championship wins.

The legendary George Digweed will have to try again next year to win the one major competition to still allude him, but this year’s deserved winner is Nick Hendrick.
