British Shooting marks Amber, Ed and Steve for podium success

British Shooting has announced the shooters selected for its 2017/18 World Class Programme.

Selected for the top category – deemed most likely for a podium place at Tokyo 2020 – are Amber Hill (OSK), Ed Ling (OT) and Steve Scott (transitioned from DT to OT).

Selected for the next category – podium potential for Tokyo 2020 or Paris 2024 – are Matt Coward Holley (transitioned from DT to OT), Aaron Heading (OT) and Ben Llewellin (OSK).

On the GB Academy Programme are Kirsty Barr (OT), Jez Bird (OSK), Brad Davis (OT), Jack Fairclough (OSK), Nathan Hales (OT), Emily Hibbs (OSK), Freddie

Killander (OSK) and Caroline Povey (OT).

Also selected for transitional support since Double Trap was dropped as an Olympic discipline are James Dedman, Matthew French, Connor Gorsuch, Tim Kneale and Rachel Parish.

Looking beyond Paris 2024, British Shooting has provisionally announced those on the 2017/18 GB Talent Programme, with eight new shooters being selected.
