Amber Hill finished with 73 in the qualifying rounds of the Women’s Skeet event at the ISSF World Cup in Azerbaijan along with three others: Ning Wei, Katiuscia Spada and Caitlin Connor. The first shotgun discipline in Gabala saw Aleksandra Jarmolinska of Poland finish on top with a perfect 75-straight, which equalled the world record, and Morgan Craft from USA finished in sixth on 72.
During the semi-final, Amber hit 13 to qualify for the bronze-medal match against Aleksandra, while Morgan and Katiuscia went through to the gold final. There Amber hit a perfect 16 to claim the last spot on the podium. Katiuscia and Morgan tied on 15 and required a sudden-death shoot-off to determine the winner, which went the way of Italy.
