In the July issue of Clay Shooting magazine (page 114), we raised the issue of a cavernous hole of information about the value of our favourite sport. The lack of knowledge we possess about a range of subjects – such as the amount of people it employs, how much money the participants donate to charity, and ultimately what our value is to the British economy – doesn’t help build a reputation, especially for a sport that is frowned upon and misunderstood by certain parts of society.
Someone needs to make a start in collating this information and raising the profile of clay shooting, and with Clay Shooting magazine being the premier independent magazine for the sport; we feel it is our duty to start the ball rolling. Therefore, we would be grateful if you could take five minutes to complete the following survey.
