Paul Simpson stayed at the top of the leaderboard right from the start at Southdown Gun Club, and not even George Digweed, Guy Franklin or Mark Winser could catch him.
Bob Clarke’s clever targets, particularly in the valley caught out some of the very best shots. It looked as if Paul’s lead may have been in danger when Mark Winser was shooting in the last rotation on Sunday morning, but even he couldn’t catch the 143, finishing two points behind as Runner-Up.
Cheryl Hall, Steve Brightwell, Aaron Harvey and Henry Bevan had success across the categories, while Richard King became 2017’s Clay Shooting Classic Sportrap Champion.
