How do I deal with distractions when I am shooting?

This will depend on when you are distracted.  If the distraction is during the process of taking your shot, then you train yourself to totally ignore them.  You can put yourself into a bubble (zone) where noises and happenings cannot

I can keep my concentration for about 18 shots during a round, then I seem to lose it and miss the next three to four targets altogether. How can I stop this happening?

No more excuses

Q My friend is always making excuses when he shoots badly or misses targets. He says things like: “I’m tired, I didn’t sleep much last night” or “I am not in the mood to shoot today” or “I had a busy week at work and I am still thinking about it”.
