Two for joy: Hull Cartridge Summer 6 Series continues

The second round of the Hull Cartridge 100 Sporting Summer 6 Series took place on Wednesday 7 May at Prescott Shooting School, with a high standard of shooting across the board. David Kempley was awarded High Gun, recording an impressive 94ex-100. David exhibited an exceptional display of shooting on the high tower, where many others suffered heavy losses. He had previously come second in AA-class in the first round of the series, which was held on 2 April.

Nick Truter also shot an excellent 92 in A-class, securing the top spot in A over two shoots.

The competition, which sees participants aim to prove their consistency over at least four of the six events, is attracting both local and national interest, with shooters traveling from all corners of the UK to the Prescott Shooting School in the Cotswolds to compete on new territory for registered shoots. The feedback so far has been very positive, and the entry is certainly building momentum. With the Clay Classic just around the corner and hosted by Steve Lovatt, Prescott’s next regional competition on 4 June will coincide nicely with anyone wanting a warm up before shooting the Classic.

Results for the second round are as follows:
